New Alexandria, Pa, May 8, 2008 -- The new television show, produced by Pittsburgh Raceway Park as Thunder TV, is now sponsored in part by the international tarping system manufacturer Merlot Vango of Pittsburgh. The Presenting Sponsorship is a two season deal that will promote and market the company’s tarp and sign products to the tri-state area highlighting the system designed specifically for flat bed trailers, small and large.

“I believe we need to get our products in front of the racing community because we have products that would be beneficial for the race community to utilize, and we also have the new high tech signs that are available on the market,” says Vince Merlot, owner of Merlot Vango. “They are the latest in direct print signs and possess mammoth positive implications for businesses and business owners. We are excited about working with Pittsburgh Raceway Park and are looking forward to future prosperity.”

Mike Tedesco of PRP said, regarding the deal, “I really like Vince Merlot. He’s a great person and has products that truly benefit the race community, and I believe we have a great business future together.”

The sponsorship funds the production of the PRP Thunder TV show that is planned to air, on Comcast, at the end of May 2008. Promotional pieces have been shot and one show is in the can for the new series. Rain has been a stifling factor where the production is concerned, but with spring in full swing, the lion’s share of the season is yet to come.

Video of the Merlot Tarping systems and the Merlot Vango high tech signs will be posted on the PRP Website in the near future.
