Super Pro class had Larry Coleman in his dragster win a close race over Darren Lotts in his dragster. The lights were the same .035 for both drivers, and both "whapping the gas" on top end. Coleman running closer to his dial 4.965 on a 4.94, lotts 4.779 on a4.75 dial. Louis Styles was the semi with his door car  running out against Coleman 5.303 on a 5.32 dail. Quarters saw Jeff Boyd in his dragster run under 4.984 on a 4.99 losing to Coleman, And Lotts running 4.756 on a 4.75 to take out Jason Overstreet.
Footbrake was a war having to win eight rounds to hold the Ironman. Chet Brammer in his beautiful 68 Camaro won running 5.653 on a 5.65 to win over Alex Coffey in his S-10 as he went red, going 6.439 on a 6.43. Semi had Coffey beat Ricky Cayton in his Camaro, as Cayton ran too quick 6.232 on 6.24 dial trying to catch Coffey. Brammer had the bye and ran another 5.65.Quarters saw Harley Keys in his spotless 69 Camaro lose to Brammer, and Kevin Pollard in his always 5.40s quick lose to Cayton.
Jr. Dragster Matt Hopkins won with a 7.89 over Noah Pollard who ran 10.49. Semi was Megan Lotts. Quarters had Lexi Pollard, Ethan Austin and Kendall Payne.
Top Dragster class, Mark Payne won with a .012 light 4.824 at 142mph on a 4.82 dial over a super close Darren Lotts .020 light 4.751 at 144 mph on a 4.75. Lotts second runner up of the race. Semi had the Father and Son, Johnny and John Swink, lose as #1 qualifer johnny Swink 4.71, broke. john ran too quick 4.955 on a 4.96 dial wasting a great .007 reaction against Lotts 4.757 on a 4.75.
One Great Ironman Race, allready looking forward to 2009 IHRA Ironman Classic.
