IHRA MEMBERSHIP NOTICE

Effective January 1, 2007, all IHRA memberships will increase by $5. Some examples are:

General membership: $50 (was $45)
Sportsman ET membership: $60 (was $55)
Pro Am membership with one class: $70 (was $65)

Numbers will remain at $10 each. Multiple year memberships will be discounted depending upon the number of years, i.e., for general memberships –2 years $85 (save $15); 3 years $125 (save $25).

All Junior Dragster and Teen Champ memberships will be remain unchanged for 2007.

As a courtesy to competitors, you may still join or renew your membership at any IHRA event. Please remember that there will be an additional fee of $10 at the event for this service.

3/15/05 - New Policy Regarding Minors Racing at IHRA Events
Effective 4/1/05 - If a participant is under the age of majority  (a minor) , as determined by the state in which the participant resides, he/she must, in addition to the membership and license application,  have parent and /or legal guardian  execute a Parental consent form and minor release waiver.  These documents must be completed , signed, notarized and on file with IHRA before a membership and license will be issued.  These documents can be downloaded from www.ihra.com or by calling the IHRA office.   When a minor participant comes to any event at an IHRA sanctioned facility, they must have their parent and / or legal guardian with them (proper identification and proof of guardianship (when applicable) required) to complete the track's minor release waiver process.

Avoid the lines at all IHRA events. Renew your IHRA membership by mail, fax, phone or internet and save $10.00 from the cost of renewing at any IHRA National, Divisional or Bracket Finals event. There will be an additional $10.00 charge for all memberships processed at any event. To ensure your credentials are valid and you have them back before the event, all monies must be received at IHRA headquarters seven (7) days prior to the first day of the event.
