Haddock opens SummitRacing.com Nationals with wedding bells
Las Vegas, April 6, 2006: H57 Hoodia Funny Car pilot, Terry Haddock, married Bambee Olson Thursday, April 6, 2006. The Lynnwood, Wash. couple exchanged vows at a small, private ceremony at The Venetian Hotel Chapel in Las Vegas, in front of family, friends, and a few fellow racers.
Olson, a full-time student at Bastyr University, working toward a degree in nutrition is from a well-known Seattle, Wash. area racing family and met Haddock at the 2004 Carquest Auto Parts Nationals.
"It was a great day when Bambee came into my life," expressed Haddock. "Her love and support means the world to me. We met at a race, so we thought getting married in conjunction with a race made perfect sense, and what better place than Las Vegas."
The young couple hopes that beginning their new life together before the opening of the SummitRacing.com Nationals at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway will be a lucky prelude to the race season, and their new relationship with sponsor, H57 Hoodia, who has recently extended their sponsorship with Team Haddock.
"Everyone at H57 would like to wish Terry and his wife, Bambee a happy and healthy life together," said H57 CEO, Kelly Lockwood. " After meeting Bambee and spending time with her, I believe that she and Terry will be a great team. H57 is proud to be part of the Haddock Racing family and we believe that Terry and his new wife will celebrate their new marriage with a great showing at the Vegas race."
