Summit Team Finals

How Does This Program Work?
The spirit from which drag racing was born is at the heart of the Summit Team Finals. This race is all about FUN! At Season's end, each IHRA track selects their top racers in points from Top, Modified, Super, Motorcycle, Junior Dragster, Etc. This select group forms a 'team' which then represents their track at a divisional 'Summit Team Finals'. In addition to rewarding individual performance, 'Team Points' accumulate each time a racer has a round win. Points are tabulated during the weekend. The team from each division with the most points at the end of the race is recognized as the Team Champion at the Annual IHRA Awards Banquet.

Who Wins?
Class winners receive an IHRA Iron Man, gold card (good for Summit SuperSeries events at participating tracks), and various cash awards. With the emphasis on fellowship, plaques are also awarded at the event for: Best Team Banner, Best Appearing Team, Winning Team in the famed 'Olympics Of Drag Racing' and the coveted 'Team Spirit' Award.
